Linaid Roams

~Linaid~

My sleek, lithe, back form stood out against the white landscape as I hurried around. I look up at the silver moon, casting its glow all around, and howl loudly. I wait a moment and hear no answer except the wind in the trees. I lower my head and sniff the ground. No scent of other wolves. I raise my black head, golden eyes glowing, and scan the terra once more.

I sit back on my hauches listening to the wind rustling the trees,the flow of the river and the other animals.Then I heard a howl.I threw back my head and answered.I stood and raised my muzzle to the air.This place was unfamilar.

Linaid~

I hear an answering howl and perk my ears up. My nose lifted into the air and I sniffed, searching. I caught the scent of another wolf and began walking towards the sound, listening and sniffing the air. After a moment, I sit down and lift my nose into the air. My lips formed an almost perfect circle as I howled again, the note becoming clearer and louder as it went before fading again. I sit back and listen.

~Cassandra~
I walk forward a little bit more towards the sound.I pointed my muzzle towards the sky and howled shortly and sharply wanting to find this wolf soon.My ears were pricked and listening for the next reply.I had to be getting close.

~Linaid~

I perk my ears forward and stand up, barking a soft greeting when I hear how close the other wolf is. I began walking slowly, and a moment later I saw a shewolf. I bark out another short greeting and lower my tail, letting it wag slightly, and perk my ears forward, tounge out as I watched her.

Cassandra~
I raised my head and trotted up to him wagged my tail slightly.I smelled him curiously.My lips were stained with blood from my last kill.I licked my lips making the blood wash away.I walked under his neck towards the frozen lake.I stepped on the lake.I squealed and took a step back as the ice fell away into the water.I lapped up some water out of the place where I broke the ice.

~Linaid~

I watch her carefully.
"Hello," I say, wagging my tail slowly.

~Cassandra~
I turned around slowly."Hi,I`m Cassandra..."I answered.
I licked my paw.It got scratched on a piece of ice.
Then I narrowed my eyes having a flashback.
When I was a young pup I was made fun of and called tenderfoot.

Linaid~

I smile small at her.
"Hello, Cassandra. I am Linaid," I say, watching her. I step around he slightly and lap up some water from the lake, then turn back to her.

Cassandra~
"What are you doing here?"I asked trying not to sound rude.I focused on my paw.I didn`t completely trust this male.He seemed nice,but I was still unsure.

~Linaid~

I shrug.
"Thinking of claiming. No other wolf packs are here, and I wanted to start my own," I say casually, watching her.

Cassandra~
"Oh,"I say in a slightly higher voice.
"Would you mind if I joined you?"I asked nervously.I bit my tounge
nervous of his reaction.

Linaid~

I smile at her.
"Of course you may, if you want to," I say.

Cassandra~
"I will then."
I smirk at him.
I walk under his neck,
"well you have to do something to claim the lands..."
